Here is what you said about your stay with us at Long Valley...
“Wow! Cool! Cosy! Very cosy! Well filled. Everything we needed. Bigger than my living room.”
Claudia Mastrobuoni, Liverpool.
“Had a time, the yurt was very cosy and had everything we needed, can’t wait for next summer.”
Lauren and Peter, Liverpool.
“The yurt was lovely and cosy and a delightful space to spend time – magical at night.”
Chris and Jane Shingler, Suffolk.
“Brilliant, over three days, twelve mates celebrated my 40th birthday here. Weather brilliant, Yurt very cosy with the fire on. My friends are yurt converts now, after learning the word for the first time! I don’t want to go home. Thank you for everything.”
Darren Southworth, Bolton.
“Firstly I’m not really a camper. However, the yurt was very cosy, peaceful and just beautiful at night all lit up with the lanterns and roaring fire. Perfect four nights of being cut off from all the hassles of modern life. Just what I needed. Thanks.”
Hannah Guttery, Preston.
“The yurt was very cosy. We liked the atmosphere and the lights at night. It was beautiful to look at the stars at night. We had a lovely weekend.”
Isabelle O’Brien, Leeds aged 9 ¾.
“Thank you from all of us. We had a great time.”
Richard, Daniel, Phillip, Harry and Daniel, Wales, Brighton, London, Heywood and Worcester.
“A great weekend. Now all yurt converts – how fantastic to come ‘home’ cold and wet to light up the fire and get cosy. All in a fabulous time in a fabulous space in a fabulous setting. Brilliant.”
Micky, Sara, Simon, Fred and Jerry, Hay-on Wye, Powys.
“Absolutely brilliant - Greatness needs stillness.”
Andy Fell, Edinburgh.
“We had great fun, camping should always be as good as this.”
Claire, Will, Jack and Saul Shucker, Oxford.
“Loved the yurt- beautiful, warm and cosy.”
Paul, Denise, Tom and Katie Shepphard. Hanley on Thames, Oxfordshirfe.
“We loved the yurt, it is so well stocked, comfortable and spacious. We (adults) loved being able to stand up, beats camping. The campsite is great and we all loved doing the walks. The whole family had had fun, we will be back!”
Chelsea Thomas, Manchester.
“Love the yurt. Great to place to be heaps better then a tent.”
The Shennan family, Edgeware.
“Magical space, lovely setting and a wondrous place to wake up in and a cosy home to return to after an excursion up Langdale Pikes with burning stove etc. Thoughtful and useful touches in the yurt much appreciated.”
Andrew and Hilary King. Bath.
“A great palace like camping experience. Beautiful area area which we enjoyed exploring a bit when we could pull ourselves out of our cosy beds. Well organised and kitted out accommodation. We’ll be yurting again sometime in the future.”
Kezia, Brighton.
“Wow! What a unique and wonderful experience. So much more luxurious than camping and much more fun than a B & B. Very cosy and beautiful surroundings – very special. We will miss it here. Thank you.”
Paula and Charlie, Manchester.
“Lovely and cosy, Great stove! We baked a cake and some rice pudding. Nice furniture and beds. The weather was very cold, it snowed on the Langdale Pikes but it was delightfully warm in the yurt.. The “Fridge’ works very well, good games in the games chest. Beautiful surroundings, the mountains look particularly beautiful covered with snow. The sky is stunning and clear at night, loads of stars. We overall had a fantastic week in the yurt.”
Nathalie Holloway, London (aged 12)
“It’s been yurtidlyastic – What a beautiful home for our stay away.”
The Goodwin family.
